The Old Dalby Village Hall is available for hire by the hour for; wedding receptions, children’s parties, meetings, exhibitions and a variety of other similar events. The large or small room can be hired by the hour, or you can hire the whole hall. If you are hiring one of the rooms, you will also have access to the kitchen and toilets. The whole hall, both rooms and the kitchen, can be hired for £16:00 per hour. There are also reduced hire rates for affiliated groups and long-term users of the hall. The hall has WiFi and a built-in projector, screen and sound system.

The hiring of any of the above will also include the use of the hall’s kitchen.
Discounted rates per hour
These rates apply to affiliated groups and gatherings of a charitable nature organised by members of the community for the benefit of those in the community and where no entry fee is charged (other than to cover the cost of hiring the hall), or where the booking is part of a continuous booking of 10 or more events.

The ODVH Committee also reserves the right to offer further discounted rates to gatherings deemed by a majority vote of the Committee to be deserving cases for special consideration on the basis that they are in line with the charitable objectives of the hall and are of a particularly deserving nature. Any such arrangements will be recorded in the minutes of that Committee meeting.
